This web site is a tribute to those who created Urusei Yatsura.  I have a deep respect for the early works of Rumiko Takahashi as well as Oshii Mamoru and Kazou Yamazaki who took a great work of fiction and blessed it, to quote Walt Disney, "With the breath of life".  I am a fan from the old days and much manga and anime has passed before my eyes, but the best of it all is only a shadow of Urusei Yatsura.   Many have pondered why Urusei Yatsura holds this special place in the world of fantasy.  Could it be the vision of Mr. Yamazaki to give each person a personal vision of what Urusei Yatsura means to them?*  The pains Mr. Mamoru faced betrayed in the eyes of Mr. Mujaki?   Could it be the characters that may live down the street in your town, and yet hold one foot in the twilight zone?  Maybe no one needs to answer as the vision is before you to decide what it all means to you.

May Cherry and Sakura bless every last person who touched Urusei Yatsura, You did a great job, the best you could do, and your work is remembered and cherished all these years.   Thank you. 

I loved the ride, and will ride again and again so it's 11:59 February 4, 1987 here and forevermore.
